K6 Pickleball Session Manager (K6PSM) and K6 Pickleball Tournament Manager (K6PTM) exist to help clubs run fair, well-organized pickleball sessions and tournaments. These guidelines describe the conduct we expect from everyone using them — players, club admins, and tournament directors alike.
1. Respect and fair play
- Treat other players, admins, and tournament directors with basic respect and courtesy, on and off the court.
- No harassment, bullying, intimidation, hate speech, or discriminatory language directed at another user, whether in the Apps, at a session/tournament, or elsewhere in connection with your use of the Apps.
- Report scores honestly. Don't manipulate scores, standings, or bracket results, and don't ask or pressure someone else to do so on your behalf.
- Respect the calls and decisions of session hosts and tournament directors. If you disagree with a decision, raise it respectfully with the admin — not by disrupting the session or tournament.
2. Account integrity
- Use your own account. Don't create accounts to impersonate someone else, and don't share your login with another person.
- Enter accurate information about yourself (name, rating, club) — inaccurate self-reported ratings undermine fair round/pool/bracket generation for everyone.
- Don't create duplicate accounts to get around limits (like re-using a free trial you've already used).
3. Responsibilities for club admins and tournament directors
Admin access comes with extra responsibility, since admin tools directly affect other players' experience:
- Use admin tools (promoting/demoting members, editing scores, managing rosters, generating brackets) fairly and only for their intended purpose.
- Don't remove or demote another admin, or alter session/tournament data, out of personal dispute rather than a legitimate organizational reason.
- Communicate cancellations, schedule changes, and rule changes clearly and in good time.
- Superusers (platform-wide administrators) are expected to hold themselves to the same standard, plus a responsibility to act fairly when resolving disputes escalated to them.
4. Prohibited behavior
The following will not be tolerated and may result in account action:
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abuse directed at another user.
- Deliberately falsifying scores or results.
- Misusing admin privileges to disadvantage another player or club.
- Attempting to access another club's data or another user's account without authorization.
- Attempting to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the normal operation of the Apps.
- Any conduct that would violate our Terms of Use.
5. Reporting a problem
If you experience or witness behavior that breaches these guidelines, contact us at [email protected] with:
- What happened, and when.
- Which App and, if relevant, which club/session/tournament it relates to.
- Any relevant detail that helps us look into it (screenshots, names involved, etc.).
We'll review reports and respond as promptly as we reasonably can. Because K6PSM and K6PTM are run by a small team, reports are reviewed manually rather than through automated moderation — please bear with us if a response takes a little longer than you'd expect from a large platform.
6. Consequences
Depending on severity and history, we may:
- Issue a warning.
- Temporarily suspend an account's access to a club, session, or tournament.
- Temporarily or permanently suspend an account from one or both Apps.
- Revoke admin privileges from an account that has misused them.
We aim to be proportionate — a first, minor issue will generally get a warning, not a ban. Severe misconduct (harassment, abuse, deliberate fraud) may result in immediate suspension without a warning first.
7. Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines from time to time as the Apps and community grow. Continued use after an update means you accept the current guidelines.
